Sugar on You

The other night I was on the bed with my boys, Rick and Vaughn (Mase was already tucked away for the night) lulling (an adopted phrase from my family I grew up with, in which we lounge around the bed visiting, telling stories, laughing-- that sort of thing). I said to Rick, "lets sugar on Vaughn," (another adopted phrase-- from our neighbors this time, the Caseys). We proceeded by sugaring on our little one, which involved kisses all over his face, tickles on his belly, a little hair tosseling etc...
When Vaughn had gotten enough of the sugaring, I said to him "lets sugar on Daddy," to which he replied "No. I salt on Daddy," and gave his Daddy a nice big lick on the cheek. Yum!
